Julia Nicole Yock
Julia is 15 years old and lives in a suburb of Illinois with her mom, dad and two older brothers Michael (23) and Jimmy (20). Her father is Irish and her mother is first generation Greek-American. Julia loves animals and has several pets including two dogs, Mila and Lola and two tortoises.
Julia’s biggest passion has always been performing and staying active. She spent many years as a competitive dancer at Konquer Dance Company training in ballet, acro, contemporary, jazz, and hip-hop. While dance played a major role in shaping her discipline and confidence, Julia has since shifted her primary focus to competitive cheerleading, where she continues to grow as both an athlete and a teammate. Through every stage of her journey, movement has remained a constant in her life, inspiring her to create her service-based nonprofit organization, Dance With Ambition: For Mind, Body & Health. Read more about that HERE.
Through Dance With Ambition, Julia promotes the importance of physical activity as a way to strengthen not only the body, but also the mind. She believes that staying active—whether through dance, cheer, or any form of movement—helps build confidence, reduce stress, and support overall well-being. In addition to her athletic commitments, Julia continues to stay involved in a variety of activities including modeling, music, and academics, all while consistently maintaining Honor Roll status. She strives to lead by example, showing that balancing passions, health, and hard work can empower others to feel their best both physically and mentally.
Some of Julia’s favorite hobbies and interests are drawing, baking, hanging out with her friends at the park or the mall, making Tik Toks and watching makeup tutorials, and playing mini golf. She loves family time at home, playing board games, going to movies, escape rooms and big weekly dinners with her extended family.
